Left-Wing Hypocrisy: The New Olympic Sport

The modern Left loves to talk about fairness, equality, and compassion. Noble words, sure. But somewhere between the slogans, the hashtags, and the marching, they’ve turned hypocrisy into an Olympic-level event  and business is booming.

Take the climate crusaders. We’re told that driving to work is destroying the planet, yet the same voices happily zip around the world in private jets to lecture us on reducing our “carbon footprint.” Apparently, once you hit 30,000 feet, guilt becomes biodegradable.

Or how about the great virtue of tolerance? The Left adores that word  until someone disagrees with them. Then tolerance packs its bags and leaves the room faster than a politician at a tax inquiry. “Free speech for all!” they cry unless your opinion happens to offend their ever-shifting rulebook, in which case it’s “deplatform, demonetize, and delete.”

Meanwhile, the social-justice warriors denounce capitalism using smartphones built by multinational corporations, sipping oat-milk lattes at franchises owned by billionaires. It’s hard to take your anti-corporate outrage seriously when your rebellion comes with free Wi-Fi and reward points.

In truth, left-wing hypocrisy isn’t an occasional misstep. It’s a full-time performance , moral superiority on Monday, victimhood on Tuesday, and a carbon-neutral holiday in Bali by Friday.

So the next time you hear a lecture about fairness or inclusion from the folks who can’t define either one without checking Twitter first, take heart.

Some of us still believe that honesty, reason, and a bit of common sense matter even if that’s no longer fashionable in the faculty lounge.
